Mindspree 2026: Where Stories Found Their Voice On Monday, the 27th of July 2026, St. Jude's School, Dehradun, proudly hosted Mindspree 2026 – the Inter-School Storytelling Contest, bringing together 17 renowned Schools from in and around Dehradun, including St. Joseph's Academy, The Heritage School, St. Thomas' College, Mount Fort Academy, Shri Ram Centennial School, Wynberg-Allen School, Summer Valley School, The Oasis and several other distinguished Institutions. The Event celebrated creativity, imagination and the timeless power of storytelling. The Chief Guest Mr. S.K. Tyagi, Headmaster, Col. Brown Cambridge School graced the occasion with is esteemed presence. The Competition featured five thought-provoking themes—Story of Our Time, Story with a Message, Personal Narrative: A Story That Changed Me, Voices Unheard and If This Could Happen. Through original narratives, the participants captivated the audience with their eloquence, confidence and expressive storytelling, proving that stories have the power to inspire, enlighten and transform. The Competition was adjudicated by Ms. Maninder Khurana, Ms. G. Banon and Ms. Neelam Sethi, whose insightful observations and encouragement were greatly appreciated. Himadri of St. Thomas' College secured the First Position for her story The Sin She Never Committed. Aanya Tripathi of St. Jude's School won the Second Position for Just Five Minutes. As the host Institution, St. Jude's graciously relinquished the Runners-Up Trophy, which was presented to Mahi Singh of Mount Fort Academy for her story Before I Had a Name. The Third Position was awarded to Aarush Negi of New Doon Blossoms School for his story The Man Who Waited in the Line. The Inter School Story Telling Competition was a celebration of imagination empathy and the enduring magic of storytelling - While Trophies may find a place on shelves, Stories find a home in our hearts.
