Past vs Present Football Match
The football ground at St. Judes School was buzzing with excitement last week as we hosted a much-awaited friendly match between Team Present and Team Past. It was more than just a game — it was a reunion of memories, jerseys and School spirit. From the very first whistle, the energy was high. The Past Team struck early and set the tone for a thrilling afternoon. The first goal of the match was scored by Neal Gardner of the Past Team, sending cheers through the alumni section. But the Present Team didn’t take long to respond. The equaliser came from Agastya Bhatt of the Present Team, and from there, the match turned into a proper goal-fest. Match Summary Final Score: St. Judes Present 6 – 3 St. Judes Past The Present Team showed great Teamwork and attacking flair. Leading the charge was Anant Thapa with a brilliant hat-trick, supported by Aniket Nagnyal who scored 2 goals. Agastya Bhatt added one more to seal a confident 6-3 victory for the current students. The Past Team played with heart and experience. Along with Neal Gardner’s opener, Aviral Bhatt and Anshul Semwal also found the back of the net, making it 1 goal each for them. Teachers, students, and alumni lined the sidelines, clapping for good passes, tough tackles, and every single goal. There was friendly banter, old rivalries, and lots of photos after the final whistle. The Event ended with both Teams coming together for a group photo and a vote of thanks from the Sports Captain. It was a reminder that whether we wear the jersey today or wore it years ago, we all play for the same crest.
