With this spirit, St. Jude’s School organised the much-awaited Bright Mind Fest, an Inter House Event for the Students of Classes 3 to 5 on the 30th and the 31st of July, 2026. The festivities commenced on the 30th of July with the Inter-House Quiz Competition and Creative Writing Competition. The Quiz Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from Gardner House, Howard House, Khanna House and Lyons House, whose teams competed with great zeal, confidence, and team spirit. The competition comprised five exciting rounds—General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Visuals, Rapid Fire and Buzzer Round—which tested the Students’ knowledge, presence of mind, critical thinking and teamwork. Every team displayed remarkable confidence and excellent coordination while answering the challenging questions. The audience enthusiastically cheered for their respective Houses, adding to the excitement and creating a lively atmosphere. After a closely contested Competition, Howard House secured the First Position, while Gardner House secured the Second Position, Lyons House claimed the Third Position and Khanna House finished in the Fourth Position. The Event was a true celebration of knowledge, quick thinking and collaborative learning, making it an enriching experience for all the Participants. . To nurture imagination and encourage creative expression, the Creative Writing Competition provided Students with an opportunity to express their ideas. . Class III Students wrote on My Favourite Toy Came Alive One Day, Class IV explored My Adventure in a Magical Garden, while Class V showcased their creativity through A City with No Cars. In Class III, Arushi of Lyons House secured the First Position, while Christa of Khanna House secured the Second Position. In Class IV, Harvi Joshi of Gardner House won the First Position, and Shivanya Tarika of Howard House secured the Second Position. In Class V, Aaradhya Saini of Khanna House secured the First Position, while Jiva of Lyons House was awarded the Second Position. The Competition proved to be a wonderful platform for the Students to express themselves creatively and build confidence in their writing abilities. The excitement continued on the 31st of July with the Inter-House Debate Competition and Art Competition. The Debate Competition provided a stimulating platform for young orators to express their views on the thought-provoking topic, Books Will Never Be Replaced by Technology . The Competition was judged by Mrs. Anshu Bhatia, Middle School English Teacher and Mrs. Surbhi Kumar, Junior School Librarian, who appreciated the participants for their confidence, clarity of thought and persuasive presentation. Nevyn Gulati of Howard House was adjudged the Best Speaker, while Sargun Kaur and Ridhima Chaudhary, both of Khanna House, shared the Second Position. The Debate was an enriching experience that encouraged Students to think independently and articulate their opinions confidently. The Art Competition brought out the artistic flair of the young Participants as they expressed their imagination through vibrant colours and creative compositions. Class 3 Students explored The Colourful Fish World, Class 4 illustrated their Favourite Storybook Character and Class 5 captured the beauty of A Beautiful Sunrise. The Participants displayed creativity, neatness and artistic flair. The Winners of the Art Competition were: Class III – Vivaan Uniyal of Howard House secured the First Position, while Kritika Seth of Gardner House secured the Second Position. Class IV – Ardaas Kaur of Gardner House won the First Position and Simarjeet Kaur of Lyons House secured the Second Position. Class V – Lavansh Chamoli of Khanna House secured the First Position, while there was a tie for the Second Position between Eva Gurung of Lyons House and Saanvi Tyagi of Howard House.
