Science Exhibition: Celebrating Curiosity, Creativity and Scientific Temper A Science Exhibition was organised for Classes 6 to 8 at St. Jude’s School on Monday, the 5th of October, 2026. The Exhibition received an overwhelming response, with 55 innovative models and working projects presented by enthusiastic Students. One of the most commendable features of the Exhibition was the freedom given to Students to choose and develop scientific ideas of their interest. The Students were encouraged to explore, experiment and transform their Classroom learning into practical and innovative models. This provided them with a valuable opportunity to showcase their scientific aptitude, creativity and problem-solving skills. The Exhibition featured a fascinating variety of working models and projects based on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science and everyday-life applications. The exhibits included innovative ideas such as Astranova City, Smart Town, Spoiled Food Detector and Rain Detector, among many other creative models. The projects demonstrated how scientific principles can be applied to address real-life problems and make everyday life safer, easier and more efficient. The Exhibits reflected not only the Students’ understanding of scientific concepts but also their ability to apply Classroom learning to practical situations. The Students confidently explained the working, scientific principles and applications of their models. Their enthusiasm and confidence made the Exhibition an enriching and engaging learning experience. The Exhibition was judged by Mr. D. Ahuja, Senior Chemistry Teacher, St. Jude’s School. He carefully observed the models and interacted with the participating Students. He appreciated their efforts, creativity and scientific understanding. He also encouraged the Students to continue exploring scientific ideas and developing a spirit of curiosity, experimentation and innovation. The Results were as follows: Swastik Kumar and Abhinav Panwar of Class 8 C were declared Winners for their exhibits Astranova City. Sparsh Rawat of Class 8 C was declared the First Runners-Up for his exhibit Smart Town. Aarav Joshi of Class 8 B, Athrav Maithani and Devang Verma of Class 8 C were declared the Second Runners-Up for their exhibits Spoiled Food and Rain Detector respectively. The Middle School Science Exhibition proved to be much more than a display of models. It created a platform where Students could question, explore, experiment, innovate and learn through experience. The Event successfully fostered scientific thinking and demonstrated that when Students are given the freedom to explore their ideas, science becomes more engaging, meaningful and enjoyable. The enthusiastic participation of 55 Student Exhibits, coupled with the appreciation received from the Judge, Mr. D. Ahuja, made the Exhibition a memorable and successful celebration of scientific curiosity, creativity and innovation.
