The Inter-Class Middle School Debate Competition
The Inter-Class Middle School Debate Competition The Inter-Class Debate Competition for Classes 6 to 8 was held on Thursday, the 10th of September 2026. The topic for the Debate was, This House believes a Competitive Childhood Creates Successful Adults. The young speakers presented their views with confidence, conviction and clarity, showcasing their impressive oratory and critical-thinking skills. The Debate provided the Participants with an opportunity to look at the Topic from different perspectives, articulate their ideas effectively and respond thoughtfully to opposing viewpoints. The results of the competition were announced with Gaurangi Purohit of Class 8-B being declared the Best Speaker. Samriddhi Sehgal of Class 7-D secured the First Runner-up position, while Laiba Rehmat of Class 6-D was awarded the Second Runner-up position. Their impressive performances were highly appreciated. The Competition proved to be a valuable learning experience for all the Participants. It encouraged them to think critically, express their ideas confidently and become more effective communicators. Such platforms not only nurture public-speaking skills but also help Students develop the confidence to engage with diverse ideas and perspectives.
